Let's go plant-based!
(It’s not rocket science.)
HappyVore is getting involved in sailing to fly its values high
It is thanks to these strong values that sailing has attracted 4 million enthusiasts in France, young and old alike (source: Le Point Sports). After their first foray into the world of sailing with the Transat Jacques Vabre in 2021, HappyVore and Nicolas d’Estais are setting off on a new adventure: the Route du Rhum.
10 metric tons of CO2 saved
Thanks to his voyage* and our community’s recipes featuring HappyVore products**, we’ve saved 10 metric tons of CO2 since the start of the Route du Rhum. Proof that going plant-based 🌱 isn’t rocket science 😉
And 10 metric tons of CO2 is no small feat! That’s the average annual carbon footprint of a French person. 🌍
Congratulations, Nicolas d’Estais! 🥳
* Compared to the equivalent flight from Paris to Pointe-à-Pitre
** On average, 12 times less CO2 than its meat-based equivalent

What do Nicolas and HappyVore have in common? Our appetite for adventure
In 2019, he sent us a message in a bottle: “I’m taking on a regatta—who’s with me?”
For someone who had just left his job as a consultant, it was a pretty bold move. But we liked his approach: it reminded us of our early days in 2019, when we shook up the market with plant-based recipes that were the spitting image of meat. Back then, it was a crazy gamble, but we believed in it. With his determination, Nicolas won us over! Joining him on his quest for the open sea felt like the obvious choice. Together, we intend to prove that with a small boat but big ambitions, anything is possible.
